The lining is very soft and doesn’t ride up which is a really important detail for me. I finally realized why the website stresses the “enclosed lining” as a special feature. I’ve worn other skirts with linings that aren’t attached so they separate as I walk. Then I’m constantly having to reach up my skirt and pull it down throughout the day. I honestly was not sure what I wanted except that I wanted something that was not too tight around my full hips and behind. They knew exactly what I wanted right away. I have never been able to find a skirt that fit properly, and I never buy clothes on line for fear of not fitting correctly. This was the loveliest packaging of a skirt. I'm very happy with the two Rita Phil skirts I purchased, which fit great, are comfortable, and feel high-quality. I took a chance placing an order with Rita Phil, and I’m glad I did. Julie, a member of their customer service team, was in touch with me promptly, and not only assured me the skirt was in production but collected additional measurements for the seamstress. When the skirt arrived, it fit perfectly. It’s fully lined, there are no loose threads or weak seams, and the darts are evenly sewn and well placed.
