Test About
ALL WOMEN
HAVE OUR OWN UNIQUE CURVES
WHETHER YOU ARE A SIZE 0 OR A SIZE 10, THERE ARE AREAS OF YOUR BODY THAT YOU LOVE, AND OTHER AREAS THAT YOU WANT HELP WITH. SMALLER WOMEN WANT AREAS ENHANCED AND LARGER WOMEN WANT AREAS MINIMIZED. ITS UNIVERSAL – WE WOMEN ARE PERFECTIONISTS. ☺
The Stitch Appeal pledge
We love making you look good. (This does not mean making clothes that look great on a mannequin and then hoping that people with perfect bodies wear the clothes.)
We promise that we are devout perfectionistas. We not only pay close attention to your actual measurements, but also the relationship between those curves. Each customer’s measurements undergo their own specific analysis, resulting in a custom fashion piece that highlights your body in its best light.
WOMEN ENJOY
GETTING WHAT WE WANT
THE HARD PART IS FIGURING OUT WHAT WE WANT. SOMETIMES WE FEEL LIKE A MINI SKIRT, OTHER TIMES WE WANT A MAXI DRESS. THE ONE COMMON THREAD IS THAT WE JUST WANT TO LOOK GOOD - BUT WE DO NOT WANT TO LOOK LIKE EVERY OTHER GIRL ON THE STREET. WE WANT OUR OWN ORIGINAL TOUCH TO EVERYTHING WE DO.
The Stitch Appeal Vision
We have all tried on a blouse or skirt and loved everything about it, BUT… And that “but” is big enough (pardon the pun) to make us not buy it. Either the length was inappropriate or the beading was a bit too much, or too little, for the occasion, or any number of other reasons that this item just will not work for us, despite how much we love the fit and style.
At Stitch Appeal, our vision is to enable you to make these types of personalizations on every piece. We understand that each woman has her own unique lifestyle with different needs and requirements. We do not lead cookie cutter lives and we should not have to wear the same mass produced items that every other woman is wearing.
Our designers will help you along the way by only offering customizations that we know will look good, so you can rest assured that your fine tuning will result in a polished and put-together look. Our vision is to help you define and bring to reality your own fashion vision.
OUR STORY
We started with wedding gowns – custom designed gowns to fit each bride’s perfect vision for her once in a lifetime day.
We then took what we learned and thought, women should be able to experience this type of customization every day. And Stitch Appeal was born.
Stitch Appeal offers personalized women’s fashion that is custom tailored to each woman’s unique measurements. We still apply the same rigorous standards as we did with wedding gowns, focusing on fit and quality. Close attention is paid to every detail on each piece, from the hug along the hip line to the softness of the lining.
Brides are arguably some of the most demanding customers in any market. Based on our experiences with this unique customer set, we have learned a couple key lessons that we use to lead us at Stitch Appeal.
YOU NEVER GET

A FIRST IMPRESSION
The inspiration behind Stitch Appeal
From Linh, the founder of Stitch Appeal
What really inspires me about Stitch Appeal is that I get to bring a highly analytical approach to fashion. How can we enhance, shape, lift and hide all the areas that women are secretly wishing were enhanced, shaped, lifted and hidden?
I have no background in fashion and only a fleeting interest in the latest trends (although this is changing as I am learning more about the creative process). My background is in finance and digital marketing, two fields that are heavily numbers oriented and highly analytical. I think my critical thinking approach to fashion enables us to balance issues of fit and practicality with that of trends and style (in addition to being highly frustrating for our designers ☺).
Each piece we create is the result of hours of discussion on not only the aesthetics, but also how we would change the proportions for each body type. And if we think a certain style would work better for certain shapes than others, we will tell you (check the Description for each product). We want to take all the guesswork out of shopping, so you can simply enjoy looking good.
When we started exploring the women’s ready-to-wear market, the first thing I thought of was how I never felt like a woman when I was wearing my professional clothes. One of my managers once commented how I looked just like him – and there was actually quite a bit of truth to that. We were both wearing dark navy pantsuits and a blue button down shirt. I was as square of a box as he was.
Now, granted, the financial services industry requires a certain decorum; and I certainly did not want to resemble Hollywood’s depiction of office starlets (e.g. sleep my way to the top). But I did want to be able to express my personality through my clothes – or at the very least, not look like a dude. After all, if the first impression we make is predominantly based on how we look, then there should be some distinction to what we are wearing. (I will leave the discussion on the relationship between looks and career success for another time – do a quick Google search to read more on that topic).
Stitch Appeal is a “real world” woman’s solution, for women in the real world who want to look good, but do not have time to scour the malls and online shops for that perfect fit and style.
